The Presidents Show
Originally posted on July 31st, 2006 ![]() Back in May of 2002, I curated my first art show. It occurred at Disjecta, and was called "The Presidents Show". The idea was pretty straight-forward: I found an artist to represent each of the forty-two American presidents, and asked them to create a piece based on that President. The results, as should've been expected, ranged across all spectrums in terms of thought, creativity, and craft. It included some people that went on to do some really great stuff, people like Carson Ellis, Ian Lynam, E*Rock, Amos Latteier, and Brad Adkins. For the show, I created a website featuring the works by the artists; I've included the link below.
